Increase to Old Age Security benefit for second quarter of 2022

The Old Age Security (OAS) benefit payable to most Canadians over the age of 65 is indexed to inflation, with the benefit being adjusted at the beginning of each calendar quarter.

For the second quarter of 2022 (April to June), the maximum OAS benefit has risen to $648.67, an increase of 1.0% over the previous quarter.
